Your Stay at Villa Galgani

Villa Galgani has three rooms, each one different, all non-smoking, with air-conditioning and/or fan, Wi-Fi service throughout, and with attention to detail with handcrafted and minimal furnishings. We have elevated the flavor of the past and have preserved the original wooden ceiling beams, interior stone walls, and essential furnishing typical of the time.

Each room has an en-suite bathroom with natural local soaps. We invite you to sleep on natural and healthful mattresses made in Italy and relax on natural pillows in spelled chaff, lavender, and pine.

The rooms have large, white windows which overlook either the interior garden or the greenery outside. To nourish and reinforce the atmosphere of tranquility and relaxation, by choice, the rooms are not equipped with televisions.

A small library with books in various languages is available at your disposal.
You can browse the selection of Art books, Guides, Maps, Brochures and Tourist information about the many delightful places to visit in and around the city.

Roses, irises, and calla lilies bloom in our garden, along with aromatic herbs and plants. During the summer, you can savor aperitifs and in the morning, enjoy a tasty breakfast amid olive and cherry trees.

Free Parking is off premises behind the Villa.

We also host, with notice, your Faithful Friend of any size free of charge.

Zero Kilometer Breakfast – fresh, local, organic products

Breakfast will be served in the garden, breathing in the freshness of morning amidst the surrounding plants and trees.
Fresh yogurt made from a Lucchese Caseificio, homemade jams, seasonal fruit, bread, fresh local cow’s milk, muesli, fruit juices, beekeeping honey, espresso, cappuccino, coffee and tea.
And, lastly, our coffee is selected by Tuscan and Neapolitan Torrefazioni; Coffee beans are freshly ground.
Dairy products or vegan alternatives will be served on request.

Our Policy on Eco-Sustainability

Villa Galgani was built entirely of Guamo stone and brick from the early 1900s and is attentive and respectful towards Mother Earth. It has been Eco-restored through a conservative restoration.

Our concrete commitment to Creation:

• Ecologically autonomous heating with a Pellet Furnace
• Hot water production thanks to a Solar Panel system
• Lighting provided solely with low energy consumption LED bulbs
• Plastic-Free: Soft drinks and water will only be served in glass
• Natural shower gel and soaps (products not tested on animals) will be provided in small, recycled glass bottles in the bathrooms (No single-use, disposable, plastic packs)
• For all cleaning, only natural detergents will be used
• Furniture: metal-free beds, spelled chaff, lavender, and pine pillows handcrafted from Trentino. The mattresses are natural and healthful, consisting of cotton and wool made in Italy
• Free Animal hospitality of any size
• Electricity supplier, uses renewable energy sources
  
  As part of our commitment to a “Green” lifestyle, we have created our own vegetable garden both at home and in our nearby field, following a natural cultivation in step with the seasons.
